Move to blogger

Wardog’s Gaming Studios has now moved over to Blogger. I did this to use the ability I already have on Google. Playstation Core will still be on WordPress. Move to WordPress to Blogger is just a minor thing for WGS.

Just Thinking of Moving To The Google Sites Blog

Since I created the Google Sites and can put a blog in there, I want to move the WG Studios blog over there. The downside is that its not like Blogger or WordPress but its one less site to go to if I do put it over there. Time will tell I guess.

GameOn’s Multiplayer Marathon III

Tomorrow, Friday Jan 22, 2010, GameOn will do another multiplayer marathon. This will be aimed at Child’s Play and Save the Children. I will let the Swiftor tell you the details.

WGS and PsC Portal Site

Over the weekend, I created a portal type site that contains all things that is Playstation Core and Wardog’s Gaming Studios related. It is just a portal site that just links the feed and the site of both blogs. Nothing much really.

Are Fanboys Really Fanboys? (Still Work in Progress)

Are fanboys really fanboys? If you think about it, probably not.

All gamers start out somewhere, right? Most gamers before the Xbox was made, either played PlayStation or Nintendo. Before PlayStation, gamers gamed on Sega, Atari, Nintendo, Pong, 3DO, etc. Now with the current game generation, gamers fight each other that one is better than the other (Sony sucks, Microsoft wins, etc.). But what creates these “fanboys”? When you trace it back to the roots, these “fanboys” played the console they hate against now.

How can you hate say……Nintendo if you played it and loved it before? That just makes no sense. If you only own one console and can’t afford the other, doesn’t mean you can hate on it, unless you played it. If you played it and disliked it, it makes sense. But to hate and not play it just makes no freaking sense. Just because one console has more or less features than the other, doesn’t make it the best. Like this current generation of consoles, internet service. Is it because one service makes you pay and the others dont, makes it more superior because it can do more than the other?

If you owned and like a console (say…..Xbox) and hate it because it wasn’t cool or anything than another console (say…..Wii), it doesn’t really make you a fanboy because you played it and owned it. The thing is, do you hate a console because its a brand name that has been in the market for generations and a new name comes out of nowhere, doesn’t mean you can hate a popular brand name just because a new one comes out.

Google Ads Coming Soon to Feedburner and YouTube

In like a year or two, I will start putting ads on FeedBurner and the YouTube. It will run via Google Ads and will be non-intrusive and can earn a little money so I can either, A. Get games or B. Donate half the amount to a charity by viewers choice. That is if i earn a lot of money. I will also use Google Sites w/ ads to assist and orginize the site a little more to a little more professional way.

Not to worry, you guys got a year or two so hang tight.

First Video of 2010

Since the video cast was laggy and stuff, I went back in time (changed the PS3 clock 5-10 minutes back) and recorded tha ball drop in PlayStation Home. I’m sorry about the quality of the video.

New Years Special Cast

I will do a special cast that will be a PlayStation Home special. I will cast the ball dropping in the service live. Afterwards..I might go to sleep or play some God of War 2.
